Indians!

Colorado Gov Hickenlooper shakes hands with Indian leadership apologizing for past atrocities commit

Gov. Hickenlooper apologizes  to descendants of Sand Creek Massacre!  Will the Indians now apologize  to the relatives of the Hungate family who were massacred by the  Indians  thus instigating the Sand Creek 'massacre'?  Will the Indians  apologize for all the innocent women and children they murdered and  scalped for centuries?  Nah!  It's all about continually accusing whites  of atrocities and inflicting collective guilt while forgetting about  all the wrongs done by the so-called noble savages!  It is about race  baiting and rewriting history to divide and conquer the people of the  United States.  I am a native American and I say this in all honesty.  I  do not accept Hickenlooper's 'apology' nor do I accept in any way guilt  or responsibility for the events that took place 150 years ago! The  Hick is race-baiting  in my opinion!  12/4/2014

Hungate & Dietemann families slaughtered by Indians in June of 1864 & August 1868.  Will the Indians apologize for those atrocities?  Not likely in my opinion.

Don't these Indians know you can't trust those pale faces?  It looks  like these Indians all learned how to frown at the same school for  frowning!  Aren't those eagle feathers they're wearing?  They should  all  go smoke some 'medicinal' marijuana and chill  out!  A history of  these Indian attacks upon the Hungate and Dietemann families can be  found here by author Dr. Broome.

Chief Robert Tabor and his granddaughter at the Sand Creek Massacre site dedication. Tabor commented, "Never has justice been done to satisfy the spirits of those slain." (Kenneth Jessen / Special to the Reporter-Herald)

I  wonder if Chief Tabor would agree that since the Indians have never  apologized for the settlers the Indians massacred that the settlers  spirits still need satisfaction?  Is Chief Tabor willing to apologize to  the people of Colorado for that?

Sacrifice scene from the movie   Apocalypto.   This is a realistic historical depiction.  A very good historical  account can be found in the diary of Bernal Diaz del Castillo, a soldier  who went through the conquest and battles with Cortez and the Aztecs.   Read The True History of the Conquest of New Spain.   This opus work in five volumes is a true historical account of the way  things were in the Americas prior to the civilization of the savages by  Europeans.

The Declaration of Independence had this to say about the Indians:  "He  (King George) has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has  endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions."

Monument to massacred settlers in front of Elbert County courthouse at Kiowa, CO.

I  challenge Gov. Hickenlooper to meet me there and apologize to the  relatives of these people for the atrocities perpetrated upon them by  the savage Indians!   Anytime Gov. Hickenlooper! I  challenge the Indian leaders to meet me in front of this monument to  those who were murdered by the Indians and apologize  for this atrocity!

Indians Killing Indians

It is not commonly  discussed that native American Indians in the Western Hemisphere killed  many of their own in wars and religious ceremonies of human sacrifice.   The brutality of the reports by Spaniard explorers though normally  downplayed has been confirmed recently.  The scale of this sacrifice boggles the modern mind.  It is estimated by experts that up to 1/4 million Indians were sacrificed by the Aztecs of Mexico per year!  The consensus is closer to 10,000 to 20,000 per year potentially(dating back to 600 B.C.) for centuries prior to European conquest by the Aztecs alone!

The Incas also sacrificed thousands of Indians  at a time as did the Mayans!  Mississippi Valley Indians also practiced  human sacrifice before the arrival of Europeans.  Wherever pyramid  structures in North, Central and South America are found, human  sacrifices were practiced by the Indians.  It was also not uncommon for  Indian tribes to join forces with white forces to make war on other  Indian tribes!

Chart of people killed by Native American  Indians which I started compiling several years ago.  It is by no means  a complete work.

"We should not be afraid to criticize and condemn that which is inexcusable.  ... On behalf of the state of Colorado, I want to apologize,"  Hickenlooper said to tribe members at the 150th anniversary event. "We will not run from this history."
So  is Gov. Hickenlooper running from history by not remembering the  settlers who were slaughtered by Indians?  Why has he chosen to ignore  them?

View apology  given to Indians in 1867 by government including a grant of lands and compensation provided to Indians for 40 years!  Articles 6 & 7 in particular.

A recent article in the Denver Post about a Museum in Denver, CO  which remembers black cowboys of the old west.  It seems that the main  stream press is willing to remember the contributions of everyone except  settlers like those who were killed by Indians.

S C Gwynne, author of Empire Of The Summer Moon  about the rise and fall of the Comanche, says simply: ‘No tribe in the  history of the Spanish, French, Mexican, Texan, and American occupations  of this land had ever caused so much havoc and death. None was even a  close second.’

He  refers to the ‘demonic immorality’ of Comanche attacks on white  settlers, the way in which torture, killings and gang-rapes were  routine. ‘The logic of Comanche raids was straightforward,’ he  explains.

Not  only were the Comanche specialists in torture, they were also the most  ferocious and successful warriors — indeed, they become known as ‘Lords of the Plains’.

They were as imperialist and genocidal as the white settlers who eventually vanquished them.

When they first migrated to the great plains of the American South in the late 18th century from the Rocky Mountains, not  only did they achieve dominance over the tribes there, they almost  exterminated the Apaches, among the greatest horse warriors in the  world.

The key to the Comanche’s brutal success was that they adapted to the horse even more skilfully than  the Apaches.

There  were no horses at all in the Americas until the Spanish conquerors  brought them. And the Comanche were a small, relatively primitive tribe  roaming the area that is now Wyoming and Montana, until around 1700,  when a migration southwards introduced them to escaped Spanish mustangs  from Mexico.

The  first Indians to take up the horse, they had an aptitude for  horsemanship akin to that of Genghis Khan’s Mongols. Combined with their  remarkable ferocity, this enabled them to dominate more territory than  any other Indian tribe: what the Spanish called Comancheria spread over  at least 250,000 miles.

This is a good description of the ritual of sacrifice practiced by the  Aztecs, Incas and other Indian tribes with the removal of the victim's  beating heart by a coroner on the History Channel.  It is an established  fact that the Aztecs, Incas and other indigenous Indian tribes  practiced wholesale slavery, idolatry, cannibalism, sodomy and human  sacrifice!  It is well documented by Columbus and Cortez that the  Indians sacrificed other Indians by the thousands and tens of thousands  annually while worshiping their deities.  I strongly suggest watching  the movie by Mel Gibson Apocalypto for a description that matches first  hand historical accounts exactly in terms of the despicable behavior of  the native Indians prior to their conquest and civilization by  Europeans.

News flash!  Max Bear, a direct descendant of some of the Indians killed  at Sand Creek talked with me via phone while on the bus back to  Oklahoma about Sand Creek.  He refused to make any apology for the  Indians slaughtering and torturing the white settler families that  happened in Elbert County in June of 1864!  Doesn't he seem just a  little hypocritical? Dec. 4, 2014

Indians annual march of healing and remembrance of the Sand Creek Massacre.   Is this possibly an annual march to inflict guilt over an event that  happened over 150 years ago and fan the flames of racism?  Come on   Indians, I say it is time to bury the hatchet and forgive and forget!   The Indians seem to never mention their own atrocities or wrong doings.   They only seem to remember the crimes against them by whites.

American Indians did not believe in property rights unless it  involved their tipi, horse or squaw.  One or two of those may be  questionable.  They did of course believe that it was okay to massacre  men, women and children who had encroached on their hunting grounds as  well as steal cattle and horses from settlers, rape, torture, scalp,  etc. so I guess they did believe in some property rights and were  willing to defend them.

Did Indians had their revenge by giving the white man tobacco!

2015 Ceremony!

A ceremony will be held next year  in the  Town of Kiowa marking the 151st anniversary of the Hungate Massacre  honoring the Hungate family settlers and many others who were ruthlessly  slaughtered by the Cheyenne Indians on their homestead by their  Commanche Creek home on June 11, 1864 in the Town of Kiowa, Colorado.   We hope to have some descendants of the settlers who were murdered  present and hopefully Gov.  John Hickenlooper, Indian leaders and other  dignitaries as well.  It will be good to remember those who endured so  much just to settle, survive, thrive and then to be unjustly cut down in  their prime by the savages.  Watch this web site

Did The Rocky Mountain Newspaper help instigate the Sand Creek Massacre?

Read stories of settlers who were kidnapped and enslaved by Indians.

Olive Oatman 1837- 1903) "Captured  in Arizona at age 13 (1851) by Yavapai Indians, who massacred six  members of family. Sold to Mojave Indians. She was treated kindly but  bore mark of a slave—blue cactus needle tattoo on chin—for rest of life.  Ransomed by Army at Fort Yuma, 1856."  Olive's story  of the massacre was also the subject of an episode of "Death Valley Days",  in which the role of the cavalry officer who was helping Lorenzo in the  search for his sisters was portrayed by then actor Ronald Reagan.  Read  Catherine's Story about captivity with the Indians here.

President Obama apologized to Indians in 2009!  The Apology Resolution  states that the United States, “apologizes on behalf of the people of  the United States to all Native Peoples for the many instances of  violence, maltreatment, and neglect inflicted on Native Peoples by  citizens of the United States.”

Obama apologizes to Castro for taking so long to recognize Cuba!

How about apologizing to America for violating the Constitution, Obamacare, fast & furious, illegal immigration, Benghazi, outright lying, etc?

What's Wrong With Sen. Cory Gardner?

Colorado Sen. Cory Gardner

Cory Gardner became a senator in 2015(elected 2014) after only two terms as a congressman(first elected 2010).

One of Gardner's parting shots as a congressman was to vote YES on the CRomnibus bill in December of 2014

Why  is Sen. Gardner in favor of the (see below links) TPP, T-TIP, CISPA,  SOPA, CRomnibus, drought assistance for California and saving the  grouse?  All of these are unconstitutional!

Recent voting by Gardner.

Govtrack.us rated  Gardner only 25%  Ideology Score conservative rating for 2014!

Gardner could only muster a Conservative Review rating of 68% while a congressman!

Where does Gardner's financing come from?

A beaming newly elected Gardner can't wait to reduce America's  freedom, liberty, sovereignty, privacy and constitutional rights!  Let's  just call him Cory Moonbeam.  The only good thing I can say about  Gardner is that he has a history of being a strong 2nd Amendment supporter.   Other wise his record indicates he is willing to compromise on  constitutional issues while smiling all the time.  Smile on Mr.  Moonbeam, smile on.

Obama proposes raising the death tax from 40% to 60%!  Will Gardner follow O's lead again?

Gardner:  "Don't say no to Obama's amnesty program."

Really  Cory?  This is why I started calling you Cory O'Gardner while you were  still a congressman.  Gardner has sold out on nearly every conservative  ideal including protecting and defending the constitution of the US.   Gardner is selling out America one vote at a time!  Now we know what  Gardner meant on election night when he told Colorado Gov.(D) John  Hickenlooper not to worry, "I'll be easy to work with."  You got that  right Cory.
